Instructions
- Cook the Spätzle according to the package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- Wash the leeks thoroughly and slice them into rings. Peel the onions and slice them into rings.
- Heat the butter in a large frying pan, then add the bacon and cook until crispy.
- Add the onions to the pan and cook until translucent.
- Add the leeks to the pan and cook, stirring occasionally, until they soften.
- Add the cooked Spätzle to the pan and stir everything together. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the dish on plates and top with crispy fried onions.
